You can permanently delete your Jarli account and associated personal information at any time.
There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open Jarli and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Without the app
Email hello@jarli.au
from the email address registered to your account, with the subject
“Account deletion request”. We will verify your request and delete your account within
30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in identifier;
- Your email address;
- Your career profile, plans and weekly activities;
- The text of your conversations with Jarli, which is erased;
- Your resumes, and the documents drafted with you (such as tailored resumes and cover letters);
- Your job-search list and any reminders;
- The feedback from your practice interviews;
- The notes Jarli keeps from your conversations.
What we keep
- A record that your conversations took place (for example the number and timing of messages),
with their text erased;
- Usage and cost records that are no longer linked to you;
- Any report you made in the app about something Jarli said or did, including the messages it
was about, without the link to your account, so that we can fix the problem.
